School projects hold an enormous potential to convey important values and qualities to our children and adolescents. My wish is that they develop self-reliance and a sense of responsibility and that their ideas and opinions are heard - aspects of little consideration during the normal school life. Projects that enable students to actively design their surroundings and that give them the chance to be creative, also support their spirit of community and mutual respect. They have to accept a challenge and experience their limits. Thus, school projects can represent a diversified type of learning beside the common class.
